  • Overview
    • PTE Academics, also known as the Pearson test of English Academics, is a computer-based test used to evaluate candidates' English proficiency.
    • The test is commonly taken by those who want to pursue higher studies abroad or immigrate to Australia.
    • Pearson Publisher of Britain and EdExcel group, Australia's largest examining body, authorize and conduct the test.
    • The PTE Academics has received endorsement from GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) and is globally recognized and accepted by thousands of renowned institutions.
    • Institutions like INSEAD, Yale University, London Business School, and Harvard Business School acknowledge the PTE Academics.
    • The test is also approved by the Australian Border Agency and the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship for visa applications.
  • PTE Exam Pattern
    The examination consists of three parts, namely Speaking and Writing, Reading, and Listening, which take approximately three hours to complete. There is also a 10-minute break after the Reading section. The scores obtained from the exam are generally valid for a duration of two years.

    Exam Scoring pattern :

    • Overall Score, 70 to 91 task , 20 different task types.(Score range from 10 to 90)
    • Communicative skill score, speaking , writing , listening and reading( Score range from 10 to 90)
    • Enabling skill score. Grammar, oral fluency , pronunciation , spelling , Vocabulary and written disclosure .(Score range from 10 to 90 )

    Rescheduling Pay reduced fee for the new test date ( 25% of exam fee if it’s done more than 7 days before the exam date) or Pay full registration fee for new examination
    Cancelling Partial refund 50% if it’s done more than 7 days before the exam date. Or No refund if it’s done less than 7 days before the exam date

    *Fee may vary from time to time. ** A late registration fee of 25% is applied if registration is done within 28 hours of the test date.
